BEC Impact Overview
The Challenge: Communicate the BEC’s expansive mission to potential donors in a single glance.
The Solution: A visually-driven impact report focused on clarity, community storytelling, and results.
The Strategy: Bridge the gap between "mission" and "metric" by developing a layout that prioritizes a top-down information hierarchy: Identity, Narrative, and Impact.
The Identity: Leading with the "Rooted in Community" mantra to establish immediate trust and local relevance.
The Narrative: Breaking down the "Focus, Approach, and Vision" into digestible blocks to explain how the coalition operates before showing the results.
The Impact: Using high-contrast "Impact Cards" to highlight the $9.5M raised and 4,500+ vaccinations, providing concrete proof of their effectiveness.
Social Media Campaign
Challenge: Create an engaging awareness campaign as part of the social media strategy to support their impact report. Breaking the report into its three essential parts: Mission, Impact, and Vision.
DEFINING MISSION
Awareness isn't accidental. It’s the result of a clear mission and a defined approach. I help the BEC bridge the gap between 'who we are' and 'why it matters.
DEFINING IMPACT
Donors, organizers, and advocates are the heartbeat of the BEC. I turn their interest into a longstanding commitment to the BEC’s mission by showing them the tangible change they can create together.
DEFINING VISION
Clearly defined aspirations turn a mission into a movement. I help the BEC articulate their vision to energize support across Pittsburgh’s Black communities.
Before
The BEC’s first pitch overwhelmed potential donors with a dense 9-page document obscuring their purpose under layers of text.
After
I saw an opportunity to reduce the noise and let the impact speak for itself, distilling the BEC’s core narrative into a high-impact, single page pitch.
